Monday 7th December 2026
We’ve designed this Sensory Light Trail so that all guests can enjoy the magic of our light trail in a calmer, more accessible and comfortable way.
- Time slot capacity is limited to reduce crowdsÂ
- All lighting will be either static or very slow transitionsÂ
- Music and sound effects will be loweredÂ
- Break-out/quiet areas will be available should a guest require a space to centre themselvesÂ
- A sensory map will be available both in hand and online, with the online version including short videos of each areaÂ
- There are no roaming charactersÂ
- An accessible version of Stories with Santa will be available on this nightÂ
We understand that meeting Santa can be impossible for some children with autism, as he is so often behind closed doors, which can make it difficult for children to prepare themselves. On Sensory Night, Santa will be on view with his elves, but not directly on the trail itself. This will help children who wish to approach Santa and Mrs Claus.Â
- The light trail team will receive specific sensory night trainingÂ
