Reviews

“I can't recommend this place enough for families - so much to do steeped in history without the usual commercial amusements/rides. All the staff were faultless, always friendly, and going out of their way to be helpful. A genuinely feel good weekend.”

“Fantastic experience for the whole family, great value & can highly recommend the Glamping package. Would happily go again & again! We went with our 2 daughters (3 & 9) who loved every second but would be even better for boisterous boys into sword fights/archery/jousting etc... A visit to the horrible histories Victorian School is a must, but our highlight for the whole family was the hugely entertaining 'Ernie the Executioner' from Horrible Histories Tudor Times!!! My daughters are still reciting his songs! 'Amazing'!!!”

“We have just had a wonderful stay in the grounds of warwick castle..great fun had by all...meaning my husband and two sons..I am sure too along with the other Glampers . This was well run from the tent ..BBQ ...along with Breakfast. In the evening there was actitivities for the younger children...along with lots of space for a run around in the fresh air... a super stay had by all..we would recommend..a fun way to spend a night over before an energetic day climbing the battlements....and watching the plentful entertainment going on....”

“As seasoned Merlin Pass Holders we usually go closer to home (Legoland) but we decided to get even more value from our passes and visit Warwick Castle. We also decided to give the Glamping a go too (as our merlin passes got is a discount on the price too) even though we have never been camping as a family before. The whole experience was fantastic and we can not praise it highly enough. The glamping site was well organised and very family orientated. The highlight was the evening entertainment- knight school, jester school and archery - all of which were included and which avoided us paying for those activities in the castle. Our 5 year old daughter loved it all and was so inspired by the knight school she wanted a wooden shield and sword to recreate her lesson (and still is, at home 24 hours later). At the castle the shows- jousting, birds of prey and trebuchet were fab. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - a real delight of an experience - and after visiting lots of other theme park hotels - is certainly our favourite.”

“We stayed here in July for one night. Five of us, 2 adults and 3 boys aged between 12 and 15. The camp site was lovely, loos and showers nice, new and clean (mind you the place had only been open a week) Just about everything you needed was provided and the breakfast (included) and evening barbecue (paid extra) were really nice and fresh with plenty of choice considering they are catering to the masses. I felt we had 'missed the boat' a little with the boys. They would have enjoyed it so much more a few years ago but even hard to please sulky teenagers seemed to enjoy it (I think that's what the grunts meant). Staff were excellent and enthusiastic and extremely helpful in our experience. The young tour guide who gave us a full potted history of the castle and inhabitants really knew his stuff and made it interesting and just humorous enough to interest the boys. All in all a really pleasant, interesting and hassle free couple of days....even the weather was good!”
