Our spectacular birds of prey display showcases these beautiful and powerful creatures -including vultures and eagles flying from the castle ramparts.
4:30pm - The Trebuchet Fireball Show
River Island
The Trebuchet Fireball show returns after dark as a huge fireball is blasted into the night sky. Not to be missed!

10:30am - The Raising of the Portcullis
Castle Entrance
Are you Yorkist or Lancastrian? See the mighty Portcullis stop any Yorkist from entering the Castle. To be granted entry you must pledge your allegiance to the Lancastrian King Henry.
11:30am - The Firing of the Trebuchet
River Island
Watch the largest working Trebuchet in the world come to life and throw its missile over 150 metres! Taking place twice daily from the Riverbank, come and hear the history of this amazing machine from our Trebuchet Master.
