‘Tis the season to be jolly – and Warwick Castle is pulling out all the stops to make this Christmas its best yet.
From the magic of the fairytale Christmas forest to the melodic tones of the castle’s very own medieval minstrels, there’ll be enough festive cheer to melt even the most Scrooge-like of hearts.
- Christmas Tree Forest – witness the transformation of the castle grounds into a wintry wonderland featuring up to 600 towering Christmas trees, breathtaking ice effect sculptures and a menagerie of magical creatures
- Story Time with the Snowflake Fairy – let your little ones be transported to another world through the magic of storytelling in Warwick Castle’s lavishly decorated State Rooms
- An Audience with Santa – you’d better watch out, you’d better not cry... because Santa Claus is coming to town! Enjoy a spot of breakfast or afternoon tea with the man in red himself – mince pies anyone?
- Christmas Character Meet & Greets – keep your eyes peeled for the Christmas Tree Elf, Jack Frost and the Fairytale Princess who will be making Warwick Castle their home throughout the month of December
There’s plenty to appeal to us big kids too – while the children are kept busy by the castle’s legendary storytellers, mums can indulge in a spot of retail therapy at the ever-popular Christmas Craft Fair (29 and 30 November) or tap their toes to the live carol-singing spectacular that is Christmas Carols at the Castle (20 December).
And finally, see the castle in a whole new light with candlelit tours and suppers. There’ll be characters for grown ups, mulled-wine and music and a seasonal supper.
