Online Booking Terms and Conditions for daytime admission tickets

This website allows visitors to buy tickets to Warwick Castle using a secure online booking package. Tickets purchased on the online booking page may be subject to a per-booking service charge.

Print at home and collection at site online tickets must be purchased at least 24hours in advance.

  1. Before making a purchase, please carefully review your date and individual selection. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned.
  2. Please allow ample time for delivery of your tickets. For delivery of tickets by post, tickets must be booked at least 5 working days in advance. For collection of tickets on the day of the visit at Group Reception, tickets can be booked up to 2 working days in advance.
  3. Visitors are advised to check their tickets upon receipt.
  4. Please keep tickets in a safe place as no duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets.
  5. Tickets are not transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party.
  6. All major credit and debit cards are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro).
  7. All prices are correct at the time of publishing. However, they are subject to change without prior notice.
  8. A child is aged between 4 and 16 years inclusive. An adult is aged 17 years and over. A senior citizen is aged 60 years and over. Under 4s go free. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years and over.
  9. Parties of 10 or more persons constitute a group. Additional products are available for groups booking tickets in advance by telephoning - 0871 222 6688, and school and college groups by telephoning – 0870 442 2373.
  10. Tickets purchased in advance cannot be used in conjunction with any voucher, promotion, special offer or inclusive travel package. Promotional vouchers can only be used when purchasing a ticket at the ticket office on the day of the visit.
  11. Guests who wish to collect their tickets on the day of their visit will need to quote their name and booking reference, (provided to them at the time of purchase), in order to collect tickets. Credit card holders must be present with their credit card when collecting tickets.
  12. If you select the print at home option, please bring along the print out on the day and proceed straight to turnstiles. In the event of the tickets not printing out please bring your booking reference with you and go to the ticket office.
  13. Guests are reminded that for technical, operational or meteorological reasons, some facilities may be removed or closed or entertainment cancelled and/or altered at any time. Warwick Castle reserves the right to change the programme of attractions and entertainment if at any time it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so.
  14. All guests entering Warwick Castle must have a valid entrance ticket.
  15. Warwick Castle reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry or admission to or remove from Warwick Castle any visitor.
  16. On-site car parking is subject to availability and subject to an additional charge.
  17. The booking reference is confirmation of acceptance of the booking.

Online Booking Terms and Conditions for Concerts

  1. You need a valid ticket that must be produced to get in to see the show/event.
  2. The Theatre Owner or Venue Management reserve the right to refuse admission in any reasonable circumstances. If you arrive late then you may have to wait until a convenient break in the show before you can take your seat.
  3. Please do not be offended if the Theatre Owner or Venue Management asks to look in your bag – to ensure everyone’s safety they may conduct occasional security searches.
  4. The Producer or Event Promoter reserves the right to change the programme without notification or to make an alteration to the advertised details for the performance at short notice. If this happens then the Producer or Event Promoter is not obliged to refund your money or exchange tickets.
  5. Whilst we allocate specific seats to you the Theatre of Venue have the right to change these seats to others of greater or equal value.
  6. If there are any issues hindering your enjoyment then you should complain promptly to the Theatre or Venue Management prior to or during the show, if possible.
  7. On rare occasions the show or event may be filmed or recorded. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience. If you have any objections, should this happen when you attend a show or event, please contact a member of the Theatre or Venue Management.
  8. We’re sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged while at the venue but neither the Producer/Event Promoter nor Theatre Owner/Venue Management can be held responsible.
  9. The unauthorised use of a camera, video camera or any sort of recording equipment is strictly forbidden.
  10. Certain Theatre and Venues have additional terms and conditions and these also apply.
  11. We will not be held responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen but such tickets can be reissued at the discretion of the promoter. In the event of cancellation, for whatever reason, ticket refunds will be made at the discretion of the promoters. In case of ticket refunds in the event of cancellation, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.
  12. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  13. Performances will take place in all weathers in the case of outdoor events. No seating or shelter is provided.
  14. Items which are strictly prohibited and maybe confiscated are: Gazebos, Fires, Barbecues, Cookers, Fireworks, Lawn Candles or any naked flames.
  15. No animals are allowed in the venue apart from service dogs.

The following venue specific terms and conditions also apply:

  1. The Management reserves the right to open the gates at other times in the interests of safety.
  2. Tickets are sold subject to licence.
  3. Tickets are non transferable and non refundable.
  4. Lost, stolen and damaged tickets cannot be replaced. In these circumstances, new tickets should be purchased.
  5. Tickets allow one admission to the event. Admission will not be granted to anyone who does not hold a valid ticket (photocopies or secondary printing will not be accepted). The promoter/proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any person.
  6. Whilst organisers will make every effort to resolve any unforeseen difficulties that may arise on the evening of the event the promoter/proprietor reserves the right to exclude any member of the public who become abusive or who behaves in an inappropriate manner.
  7. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.
  8. The evening concludes with a fireworks finale, which may not be suitable for very young children.
  9. The promoter/proprietor of this event accept no liability whatsoever for loss, damage or injury to person or vehicles (including contents) howsoever such loss or damage is caused.
  10. The promoter/proprietor of this event accept no liability whatsoever for loss, damage or injury to person or vehicles (including contents) howsoever such loss or damage is caused.

Haunted Castle After Dark Tours

  1. Confirmation of booking will be sent via e-mail. Post only if you have not provided an email address. The e-mail will represent confirmation of booking. This should be printed out and brought with you on the evening.
  2. Tickets are non refundable and non transferable.
  3. Not suitable for under 10's and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. Please note the management reserves the right to cancel or make alterations to the events without prior notice.
  5. Should your party contain any disabled guests please contact us to discuss the suitability of the evening.

Merlin Annual Pass Terms and Conditions of use

By using a Merlin Entertainments Group Individual Annual Pass or Family Annual Pass ("Annual Pass") you accept these Terms and Conditions of use. Use of the Annual Pass is in accordance with the Park Regulations of each individual Attraction, copies of which are displayed at the Attractions or can be obtained online at www.merlinentertainments.biz or by telephoning 01202 666900 . However some of the Park Regulations are printed here:

AN ANNUAL PASS WILL ONLY BE VALID WHEN USED AND/OR PRESENTED BY THE NAMED HOLDER AND WHEN DISPLAYING A PHOTOGRAPH WHICH MUST BE A TRUE LIKENESS OF THE HOLDER. MISUSE WILL RESULT IN THE ANNUAL PASS BEING WITHDRAWN.

  1. The Merlin Entertainments Group attractions that are part of the Annual Pass scheme are: Alton Towers Resort, LEGOLAND® Windsor, THORPE PARK, Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo, Madame Tussauds (London), London Eye and Warwick Castle, SEA LIFE Centre & Sanctuaries and the Dungeons ("Attractions").
  2. Each Annual Pass holder will be issued his or her own Annual Pass.
  3. A Family means two individuals (12 years of age and over) and two individuals (under 12 years of age), or one individual (12 years of age and over) and three individuals (under 12 years of age). Each Family member will be issued his or her own Annual Pass.
  4. Annual Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or given away to a third party.
  5. The Annual Pass entitles the holder to admission to the Attractions for a period of 12 months from the date of issue ("Validity Period"). Please check individual attraction opening and closing dates before visit. The Merlin Entertainment Group, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to vary the opening and closing dates of the Attractions- Please check opening dates before your visit. Please note that not all Attractions are open all year. The Merlin Entertainments Group reserve the right to close or remove entire or part of the Attractions, events or facilities with Attractions for any reason including (but not limited to) special events or private functions, or for technical, health and safety and/or operational reasons.
  6. An Annual Pass is not valid for any Merlin Entertainments Group concerts or special events held at any Attraction.
  7. An Annual Pass is only valid for daytime entry to Warwick Castle.
  8. The authorised holder of the Annual Pass must show the Annual Pass at the admissions office of the relevant Attraction. Only valid for standard London Eye flights and excludes Valentines Day and also the Rivercruise.
  9. Visitors under 12 years of age to Alton Towers Resort, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo and Madame Tussauds (London) must be accompanied by an individual aged 18 years or over. Visitors to Warwick Castle and London Eye under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an individual aged 18 years or over.
  10. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. Some rides at LEGOLAND Windsor will require guests who only just meet the minimum height requirements to be accompanied by a person aged 16 years or over
  11. Visitors under 1 meter in height may enter Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo and Thorpe Park free of charge. Visitors under 4 years of age may enter Alton Towers Resort, Warwick Castle free of charge. Visitors under 5 years of age may enter Madame Tussauds (London) and London Eye free of charge.
  12. Photocopies of Annual Passes will not be accepted.
  13. All Annual Passes remain the property of The Merlin Entertainments Group and can be withdrawn at any time. Access may be denied to any or all Attractions in the event of fraud or misuse, and the Annual Pass can be withdrawn from any person whose conduct is deemed to be inappropriate at the absolute discretion of The Merlin Entertainments Group. Inapproprate conduct includes, but is not limited to, allowing or assisting a third party to attempt to gain unauthorised or improper access to any Attraction with an Annual Pass of which they are not the valid holder.
  14. The management of the relevant Attraction reserves the right to refuse admission for any reason.
  15. Failure to present a valid Annual Pass will result in a charge of the "on the day" admission rate applicable to the relevant Attraction, which will be non-refundable. Re-entry to the same Attraction on the same day requires a hand stamp.
  16. Annual Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, voucher or advance booking.
  17. Refunds are not available in any circumstances. For the avoidance of doubt, the full value or any part of the value of the Annual Pass will not be refunded if any of the Attractions are no longer available or if any or part of the Attractions are removed or closed during the year.
  18. Lost Annual Passes should be reported to The Merlin Entertainments Group immediately.
  19. In the event of a lost Annual Pass The Merlin Entertainments Group will re-issue a replacement card. Up to three replacement cards can be issued during the Validity Period. New cards will only be issued at the original issuing Attraction. An administration fee will be charged for re-issue of lost cards.
  20. Height, weight, size and age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. Some rides at LEGOLAND® Windsor will require visitors who only just meet the minimum height requirements to be accompanied by a person aged 16 years or over.
  21. An additional charge applies for Warwick Ghosts Alive at Warwick Castle and Chamber Live at Madame Tussauds London, Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo Christmas Event opening, and any other events as determined by The Merlin Entertainments Group from time to time.

The Warwick Castle Annual Pass

  1. The Warwick Castle Annual Pass is valid at Warwick Castle for 12 months from the date of issue.
  2. The Warwick Castle Annual Pass allows the photographed cardholder unlimited daytime admission to Warwick Castle and grounds, excluding the Castle Dungeon attraction, during the validity period.
  3. The Warwick Castle Annual Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, discount or advanced booking.
  4. The Warwick Castle Annual Pass is not valid for any evening events held at the Castle.
  5. Opening and closing times, admission prices and events are subject to change without prior notice. For technical/operational reasons entire attractions or facilities within Warwick Castle may be unavailable, closed or removed at any time without prior notice.
  6. Failure to present a valid Warwick Castle Annual Pass will result in a charge of the ‘on the day’ admission rate, which will be nun-refundable.
  7. Photocopies of the pass will not be accepted.
  8. The pass remains the property of Warwick Castle and can be withdrawn and access denied in the event of fraud, misuse or misconduct. The Management reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.
  9. Lost cards should be reported to Warwick Castle immediately. There will be an administration fee for replacing lost of stolen cards.
  10. The Warwick Annual Pass is non-refundable.
  11. Entrance to the Castle Dungeon attraction is not included in the Warwick Castle Annual Pass.
  12. Warwick Castle Annual Passes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or given away to a third party
  13. Merlin Entertainments Group is entitled, in its absolute discretion, to change the price payable for the Warwick Castle Annual Pass at any time and for any reason.
  14. Warwick Castle Annual Pass benefits and discounts may be removed or altered at any time.

Birds of Prey Experiences

  1. Birds of Prey Experience vouchers entitle the holder to participate in one Winged Warriors Experience at Warwick Castle.
  2. Birds of Prey Experiences run daily. Some date restrictions will apply and some are subject to availability.
  3. Vouchers are valid for a year from purchase, and therefore must be used by this date.
  4. To book a place on a Birds of Prey Experience, voucher holders must call 0870 999 0297 once they have received their voucher.
  5. Birds of Prey Experiences must be booked at least 7-days in advance.
  6. Places on each Birds of Prey Experience are limited and are subject to availability.
  7. To take part in a Birds of Prey Experience, all participants and spectators must be aged 10 or over.
  8. Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a participant aged 18 or over.
  9. Spectators must hold a valid spectator ticket which should be purchased in advance when booking a date for a Birds of Prey Experience.
  10. Spectator tickets can only be sold if a known participant is taking part in the Birds of Prey Experience.
  11. Guest with special needs are required to raise any special requirements at the time of booking.
  12. Vouchers must be presented on the day of visit.
  13. Damaged, amended, defaced or photocopied vouchers will not be accepted.
  14. Vouchers are not valid in conjunction with any offer, discount, concession, inclusive travel offer or annual passes. 15. No cash alternative.
  15. Voucher worth 0.001p. Not for resale.
  16. Standard terms of entry apply.
  17. Unused vouchers are non-refundable.

Online Gift shop terms and conditions

  1. Any unwanted item should be returned within 7-days of the delivery date at your expense. We are unable to process any refunds for unwanted items received after 7 days of the date that you received them.
  2. If you have received faulty goods, please telephone our retail department on 0870 442 2393 within 7 working days of receiving the item. We are unable to assist with faulty goods reported after 7 days of receiving them. We are unable to accept responsibility for goods damaged in transit to you. You will be offered a replacement of the item, plus a refund of your postage (£3 UK/£6 international).
  3. We are unable to accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post to us, and therefore we advise you to take the necessary precautions to ensure returned items are received safely and in original and unused
